By Montreal Ostomy. Osto-Gel Absorbent Gel is designed specifically to absorb ileostomy pouch contents. Osto-Gel Absorbent Gel is conveniently packaged in a dissolvable film packet which is dropped into the pouch each time the pouch is emptied or cleansed. The outer plastic dissoves on contact, releasing granules which form a gel with the liquid fecal output trapping odor and preventing leakage.
